Full head highlights at Hone & Howe usually take 2.5 to 3.5 hours, depending on your hair length, thickness and the level of lightening required. The service includes a consultation, foil application from nape to hairline, processing time and a finishing toner.

Most clients refresh their full head highlights every 8 to 12 weeks, depending on how quickly their hair grows and how blonde they like to keep their colour. A T-section or half head highlights can be booked in between to extend the time between full appointments.

When done by a professional stylist, full head highlights should not damage your hair. At Hone & Howe we use high-quality professional colour and can incorporate bond-protecting treatments to maintain the strength and condition of your hair throughout the lightening process.

Yes, a toner is included with every full head highlights service at Hone & Howe. It is applied after the highlights to perfect the final shade, whether you would like a cool, creamy, golden or neutral blonde, and to add shine and polish to the finished result.
